Waterbird Counts

The monthly high tide counts of wildfowl and waders at Montrose Basin is carried out by the rangers and volunteers as part of the BTO WeBS scheme.

Below are some bird sightings for Montrose Basin gleaned from the Angus Wildlife Review. Only unusual or peak figures were reported so they cannot be compared with the WeBS counts.
